What to know
A fair shared board
Every ranked player sees the same daily level. The board stays hidden until the run starts so the result reflects the same first-read challenge for everyone.
How results are judged
Daily rankings reward successful clears first, then compare move count and elapsed time. Unfinished runs are marked clearly so the history remains understandable.
Why practice still matters
After your official attempt ends, Practice this board opens the same puzzle from the beginning. Explore routes with Undo, Hint, and Solution without affecting your daily result.

What is the Puzzle Push Daily Challenge?
The Daily Challenge is one official board selected for the UTC day. Each player gets the same board, and completed runs can be compared by clear status, moves, and time.
Do I need a profile for daily rankings?
A nickname or Google sign-in is used so Daily Challenge attempts and ranking entries can be attached to a stable Puzzle Push identity.
Can I restart a daily run after seeing the board?
No. Each profile has one official attempt per UTC day. After your attempt finishes, use Practice this board to study the same puzzle with Undo, Hint, and Solution. Practice does not reopen or change your official result.
What happens if I refresh or lose my connection?
While your attempt is active, use Resume in the same browser to restore the board from its saved moves. The official timer keeps counting from the original start, including time away. If a finished result could not be saved, retry saving it; refreshing does not grant a new attempt. Recovery needs the original browser data.
Can I share my daily result without spoiling the puzzle?
Yes. After your official attempt ends, Share result lets you preview, share, or copy a summary with the UTC date and result. A clear includes official moves and time; an unfinished result includes its end status. The summary leaves out the board, level name, solution, and player identity.
How are daily records connected to the rest of the site?
Daily results appear alongside practice clears and battle timelines on the Records page, giving each player a readable history across Puzzle Push modes.
